Space Camp
Calling all adventurers: Join us at the inaugural Space Camp!
Join us for hands-on and immersive experiences that will put your problem-solving skills,
teamwork and creativity to the test, all whilst having the time of your life in the USA.
When: 11 nights + travel in September 2024 (exact dates TBC).
Where: Alabama and Florida, USA.
For: Students in Years 9, 10 and 11 in 2024.
What to expect at Space Camp, Alabama: train like an astronaut on a gravity chair, experience neutral buoyancy while SCUBA diving in the Underwater Astronaut Trainer, design, build and launch a rocket, fly jet aircraft simulators, escape to Mars on a mission simulator, build a heat shield and space rover.
What to expect in Florida: Swim with manatees, kayak amongst bioluminescent plankton, visit the Kennedy Space Centre, and soar on roller coasters at Universal Studios.
Cost: Approximately $6500 per student. The cost is based on an exchange rate of US$0.67 and is subject to change based on flights and accommodation prices at time of booking.
