Gardening Program

A big thank you to St Anthony's staff and families for mentioning our school when shopping at Botanical Creations nursery. We have our first punnet of seedlings from the credits accumulated.

Grade 3/4 TB planted the broccoli seedlings yesterday and we are looking forward to eating the nutrition packed florets this winter.

Prep and Grade 1/2 students have planted snow pea seeds and seedlings last week. We talked about why they are called snow peas and then our Preps did colouring activities.

In addition to snow peas, we also planted sweet pea seeds, donated by Botanica Creations nursery. Although not an edible variety of peas, they are prized for their beautiful flowers and divine scent.
