Year 11/12 VCE VM Staff vs Students Volleyball Game

As part of our Thursday VCE/VM class, the students have been working on several projects focusing on engagement with the school community. One of the projects was a staff vs students’ game to be played during lunchtime. 

The students decided that the game was to be soccer but due to some injuries in previous events, the group decided on a non-contact game of Volleyball. There was also a lunch arranged and cooked by members of the VM class for the staff and students to eat after the game. 

It all took place last Thursday and in a nail biter the staff team won by one point. 

It was great to see everyone having an enjoyable time and we look forward to more events like this throughout the year. 

We would like to thank all the students and staff who helped us out with this event, particularly, Michael James who set up the stadium for us and the ES staff in the Food Technology area that gave us access to ovens to heat up the food for our lunch.
