Winter Concerts
Tickets for our first major concerts are now available from https://www.trybooking.com/CHUTI
As of today, Winter Concert 2 tickets are all sold out. If you have booked tickets and for any reason are unable to attend, please let Carl Williams know in the Music Department, as other families will appreciate being able to purchase these seats.
All music ensembles will be performing at one of the concerts to be held in the Performing Arts Centre on Tuesday 6 June. As we have a record number of students participating in the Music program this year, we do expect tickets to sell out for both concerts. Please check your childs’ ensemble(s) carefully and make sure you book for the appropriate concert(s):
Concert 1 - 6:30-7:30pm
Da Capo Strings, Concert Band, Senior Vocal Group, Stage Band and String Group
Concert 2 - 8:00-9:15pm
Beginner Band, Chamber Strings, Euphonix with Senior Vocal Group combined choir, Sempre Strings and Symphonic Band
EDSC Parents and Friends Association will be selling food and drinks between the concerts.
The Music performance uniform (or Performing Arts uniform) that music students are required to buy is for concerts and other official performances. Students do not need to wear this for weekly lessons or rehearsals.
We would suggest moving to purchase these uniform items soon. Although our first concert is not until June, our uniform supplier PSW do not always have all sizes in stock.
Congratulations to Fire + Rain Performers
On Monday, some of our students performed in the beautiful Arts Centre Hamer Hall to an audience of 2000+ people as part of the 2023 North Eastern Victoria Region Your Concert; Fire + Rain. Playing as part of various large combined school ensembles, EDSC students participated in the String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band and Symphonic Band. Sponsor a Seat in the PAC
We are inviting you to be a part of our Performing Arts Centre as a Seat Sponsor.
With your gift of $300 (Premium Seat in the front section of the theatre) or $250 (General Seating) each, you can play your part in continuing to upgrade and create a state-of-the-art facility for use by our students, as well as the wider community.
A plaque will be placed on the back of each seat you sponsor.
