Exciting News
Last term, the Years 3 - 6 students entered the "Say No To Bullying" poster competition organised by the Interrelate Organisation. Our students designed and produced very colourful and persuasive posters against bullying and we are proud to display some of these posters around the school.
This national competition was opened to all Primary Schools across Australia and coincided with the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence in March. The aim of the competition was to raise awareness of bullying and to assist schools and organisations to identify and address bullying behaviours in their communites.
There was 41 finalists nationwide from over 5000 entries and I am really proud and honoured to announce that Catherine from 3/4GT has been chosen as a finalist.
All our students will all be able to watch the virtual award ceremony live on Interrelate's YouTube channel on Friday June 26 at 1pm.
