Activities

Activities

Boarding students returned in full from Week 5 in Term 2 to restrictions that had been placed on their usual activities program as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. However the Activities Program was able to be maintained with some adjustments that used the Kildare Catholic College Sporting facilities for all days as students were not permitted off site. It was great to see the Boarding students involved in a range of activities in the afternoons.

Digital Quizz game

Boarders participated in this online Quizz game from their own rooms or the dining room or their Year Focus space.  The overall winners were the Junior Girls. Well done.

Combined Games

Games were held in the school hall or on the ovals, tennis and basket ball courts.

Arts/Craft

Junior boarders have enjoyed arts and craft activities as part of their afternoon Activities Program. Pictured are students decorating wooden boxes with their own design.

End of Term Themed Trivia Night

Organised by House Co-Captain Lily Burge and Activities Officer, Mr Jody Siegwalt, this event provided the perfect end to Term 2 Boarding.

The trivia competition was a close one and was the finale of the evening. It followed an excellent dinner punctuated by games and music provided by Josh on acoustic guitar and Owen on electric guitar.

Kobe was announced as the winner of the "Guess the number of lollies" competition.

Outside BBQ Dinner

The last night of Term 2 was a relaxed one with dinner moved to both the courtyard and the dining room. The BBQ meal was excellent providing a very relaxed meal and a chance to discuss  the coming holiday break.
