Acting Principal Report

With icy starts and beautiful sunny days it has been a busy and exciting week with all year levels back to on-site learning. Processes have been put in place to encourage social distancing and improve hygiene practices. Students are making good use of the hand sanitizer provided in every room and most are remembering to enter and exit both the locker bay and canteen via the ‘one way’ directions.

It has been great to see a decrease in the number of uniform concerns with the many options now available. With black track pants as well as grey, trousers and skirts to choose between there should be no students in active wear, leggings or jeans. If you need help with uniform please see your Year Level Co-ordinator.  Jackets, coats and beanies are fine for these cold mornings, but should not be worn in class.

The new menu in the canteen has been a hit with many students and teachers sampling the specials and taking advantage of the beautiful grounds to eat in the sunshine (thanks Jeff for your hard work around the school).

The next two weeks are especially busy for our teachers with semester reports being written and preparations made for new classes next term. Our student numbers continue to grow with several new students enrolling in Years 7, 8 and 10.
