HRIS Athletics Success

Calrossy had a very successful day at the HRIS Athletics Carnival in Newcastle last week. Our students participated in all events and we had some outstanding individual and Team results with special mention to our 9 Year Boys Division consisting of Lachlan Alker, Emmett Hall, Zaiden Kelly Henry Turner, Martin Smyth and Joe Laurie who took out the 9 Year Boys Age Champions.

Individual results included:

Zahra Craig – 3rd8 yr Gils Long Jump

Lucy Pascoe – 3rd11 yr girl 800m, 1st12 yr Girls 200m

Calrossy now has an amazing 12 students representing HRIS at the CIS Athletics Carnival in Sydney on Thursday 12thSeptember.

They are; Lachlan Alker, Jamie Grant, Emmett Hall, Charles Hill, Zaiden Kelly, Joe Laurie, Holly McIlveen, Natasha North, Lucy Pascoe, George Pearson, Oscar Turner and Cooper Wilson.

Transport: Buses from Calrossy in Tamworth
Cost: $240 per camper/person
Sponsorships are available for country campers affected by drought.
