Top Dance Honours for Jasmine & Harper

Sisters Jasmine, MBJ and Harper, PKT are setting the dance world on fire.  Both shared the honours at the recent National Championships on the Gold Coast, with Jasmine and her troupe being crowned National Champions in Youth Novice Lyrical.  The 17 girls in the troupe were also placed fourth in the Jazz competition.

Harper, who was a National Champion last year, joined seven others in her troupe to take third place in their Lyrical category.

Jasmine has been dancing since she was four years old and Harper, since she was three.  Both girls study ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, acro and musical theatre at Vibe Studios and compete, with their teams, throughout the year in Melbourne and beyond.

Such success does not come without commitment of course - the girls practise between five and six-and-a-half hours per week.  They both love their dancing and, even at this young age, are planning their futures around a career in dance.

Well done, girls - we hope your dreams come true!

Food For Families Appeal

We are now collecting donations of non-perishable food and household items for the Wesley Mission "Food For Families" Appeal.  Also gifts to brighten Christmas for children in need.

There are two boxes in the foyer waiting to receive donations from our many generous families, they will remain there until Thursday December 20th.

Please label gifts with gender and age if appropriate.

We thank you for your support.

Come dressed as Mr Caudry!

It's your chance to be Principal for the day!  On Friday December 14th we're having a special "Goodbye Mr Caudry" Day, with a special Assembly at 2.30pm.  All students are invited to dress up as Mr Caudry (no gold coin this time) - as well as the Principal, he is a keen Essendon supporter, an accomplished kayaker, a very happy snapper (photographer) and a doting grandpa so there's plenty of scope for some great dress-ups!
