Year 6 ANZAC poetry

Last week the year 6 students learnt about the history of WWI, the ANZACs and the brave men and women who courageously fought and cared for the wounded soldiers during the war. The students then completed a 3 line poem, drawing upon the emotions and experiences that those who went to war and the families that were left behind went through. They are very moving and powerful poems that the students can be very proud of.
