Prep and Year 1
It is great to see the students in Prep and Year 1 settling straight back into the rhythm of school in Term 2. The two classes have been able to share some wonderful learning experiences together over the past two weeks. Hopefully your child/children told you all about our walk around Preston. On our walk it was great to hear the students talk about what they could see on their nature walk. We noticed some of the trees were looking a little bare as the leaves had fallen to the ground. This lead into some great discussions about the seasons we experience throughout the year. It was fantastic to hear students chatting to one another about how we are in Autumn now and heading into Winter soon. The Preps and Year 1's were very excited to be able to play all together on this amazing adventure playground during their walk.

Year 5/6 Camp Rumbug
What a magnificent camp the Year 5/6 students had over the past three days! Plenty of stories and good times were had and you will hear more about them in the next newsletter (when we've all had some sleep!). Mud runs, Giant Swings, Low Ropes, Flying Foxes, toasted marshmallows around the Campfire were just some of the amazing activities done by our students. On behalf of all the teachers who attended, we really wanted to say a big THANKYOU to all parents and guardians whose child attended camp. They were all brilliant in their attitude towards everything they did and they represented our school so well. The Learning Dispositions of being Responsible, Respectful, Self Managing, Creative, Curious and Resilient were all on display throughout the three days. Well done kids!!
