Monty Boomerang Bags

Monty Boomerang Bags (MBBs) is a grass roots group that recently formed in Montmorency.  MBBs aims to help make Montmorency plastic bag free. We do this primarily by making gorgeous handmade shopping & produce bags from donated recycled materials, that are available for shoppers to use instead of plastic grocery bags. These bags are currently stocked in eight local traders in Were St Montmorency: Foodworks, Kim Kim Bakery, The Were St Trader, The Natural Food Store, Montflora, Monty Fresh and Craft & Vine.

Our bags are very eye catching and they are available for customers to borrow and bring back for the next person to use. We aim to spread the word in the community about the devastating effects of using single use plastics, while offering an alternative for locals
