Dad's Footy Carnival 2019 

Attention All Dads - FONY Update

Further to our recent newsletter call out, we will be entering a Fathers Of North Yarra (FONY) team in the upcoming Dads Footy Carnival day on Sat Aug 31st.

We have had a great response from our original call out, with about 20 Dads already attending training – loosely coined – sessions over the last few weeks.

So a last call for interested Dads who have some footy exposure, and keen to get around one more time for a fun filled family day of several short games (2 x 15 minute halves) between various primary school dads.

This day originated in 2013 to ‘support men’s health through community, friendships and physical activity’ and comprises a group of mainly bayside primary school dads getting together for a social day of footy. The FONY team may be the only team from North of Yarra, so get on board for a great day – and even better training sessions preceding it.
