Pastoral Care with a Difference
This morning secondary students chose to participate in one of eight activities for Pastoral Care. Teachers offered activities like Art, Mindfulness Relaxation, Gardening, Sports and Chess (online). The chance for students to have some fun and choose how they spent the time was really rewarding. A couple of our Year 12s even asked if they could lead one of the groups in some energising, low contact games. It was a refreshing change, enjoyed by students and teachers alike.

Rite Journey
On Wednesday 18 March we celebrated The Rite Journey Calling and Departure Ceremony. Year 9 students and their parents gathered at The Soldiers Memorial Gardens at dusk to celebrate this significant transition in their lives.
The Rite Journey program aims to support this process as students leave their childhood behind and step forward into adulthood. As the sun set that evening, many joyful tears were shed as students shared their gratitude for their childhood and set their sights on when the future holds. We thank God for these students and their families and the wonderful opportunity we have to mentor these students this year.
