Thank you for everyone's assistance in getting their leave arrangements in for next week. I have followed up with many of them making sure each leave is correct.  We have 78 students at Country Week and many arriving and departing at different times by various modes of transport.  The logistics of this all happening smoothly is a major undertaking.  Thanks for your co-operation.

Quiz Night

These events are always lots of fun and last night was no exception.  Mr White was the main organiser of this event and needs to be congratulated for his efforts.  These sorts of events only happen through the generosity of staff giving of their own time for the students.  A big thank you to all staff who volunteered to attend.  We had representatives from nearly all areas of the College. Congratulations to the winning table, Mr Watt, Patrick Addison, Riley Vitali, Louis McCully, James Principe, Josh De Beer and Zac Bedggood-Skinner.

We Farewell Some Staff

At the end of this term we say farewell to a couple of long serving staff from our area.

Firstly, Deanne Shaw who has been working across kitchen, cleaning and residential is taking a break from us and pursuing a different path.  Deanne has been a fabulous staff member, happy to help across all areas and we will miss her smiling face a the College.  I am certain we will still run into her around town.  Thanks and good luck Deanne.

From Residential, we will be saying farewell to Charlotte Mills at the end of this term. Charlotte has been a fantastic workmate for several years and has been an outstanding help to me covering numerous extra shifts, many at short notice.  Charlotte would often ring me to offer her assistance when she became aware of other staff being unwell etc.

Students will miss Charlotte as our 'Resident' craft person, teaching amazing craft skills across a broad range.  Staff and students will sorely miss Charlotte and we wish her every success in her new endeavor.

Welcome to the College

We welcome onboard Natalie Wellington who has been with us for the last few terms.   Natalie applied and won a position at the College as a Residential Supervisor.

Heidi Armstrong will also be starting with us in Term 3.  Heidi will fit in really well and brings a wealth of experience into the role.  Welcome and good luck.

Rob Hodgson will also come on board for the start of Term 3.  Rob has been working on the Farm for a few years now and will join the Residential team.

Goodluck to all the students competing at Country Week next week.  Results will be published on Facebook each day.

As this is the last Weekly Wrap-Up for the term, we wish everyone a great holiday.
