It is the last official week in Semester 1 for most Year 11's to complete area studies and achieve their qualification. It has been an exciting semester dodging COVID, side stepping the cold and flu germs and completing major projects.

Fortunately at Harvey Ag, the time and timetabling allows students to spend a significant amount of time, not only in the classroom but also in the workshops. Students are able to build on their skills and knowledge to create their awesome projects.

Many students also enjoy the workshops being open after school to take advantage of the expertise of our highly experienced teachers to help them extend their knowledge and practical skills.

We had 100% completion of the bar stool projects and students are going on with decorative cutting boards to finish off the semester.

I just want to remind students to pick up their completed projects before the end of term. Thankyou.

Automotive

Students are gaining valuable experience working on large, multi cylinder motors or small, single cylinder, stationary engines.  All the experience gained whilst at the College can be used long after students graduate.

Metals & Engineering

It is a great time of the year to be finishing off fire pits so they can be taking them home to enjoy an open fire while star gazing at night.
