Year 3 Excursion

Pictured above: Mrs Cathy Bateman and the Year 3 students.

Just in time! Fortunately for our Year 3s, their excursion to the Melbourne Museum was able to go ahead on Thursday before school moved to online learning. They got to see the 'First Peoples' exhibition in line with their Integrated Studies unit. Here are some wonderful photos - it certainly looked like a fun day!

Junior School Art

Congratulations to Ben, Vedant, Jessica, Aaron, David, Hailey, Leah, Lilah and Ted in Grade 4 whose Indigenous inspired ‘journey’ paintings were on display at the recent ‘Dreaming from the Heart’ at the Track Gallery, Mount Waverley Community Centre as part of Reconciliation Week. The exhibition was unfortunately not open to the public because of Covid-19 restrictions; however, the students should feel proud of their work on display. Well done Grade 4!

Students in Grades 2, 4, 5 and 6 were asked to create a Minecraft-inspired self-portrait.
