To the Huntingtower Community,
As you are likely aware by now, our upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream has been postponed due to Melbourne’s most recent lockdown.
We have over 120 students working on the show as part of the production team, cast, design teams (costume, make-up, set, props, sound, lighting and publicity) and backstage crew. All have worked incredibly hard and whilst we may be disappointed in not being able to perform this weekend, our spirits remain high as we prepare to showcase this production to an audience soon.
Due to a clash with a pre-existing school commitment, the Saturday matinee performance can no longer take place. If you are unable to attend any of the evening performances, we offer the opportunity to attend our Thursday afternoon final dress rehearsal at 1pm at a reduced rate of $10 for all tickets.
As this point in time, the alternate performance dates will be:
- Thursday August 19th @ 1pm (final dress rehearsal)
- Thursday August 19th @ 7.30pm
- Friday August 20th @ 7.30pm
- Saturday August 21st @ 7.30pm

In the Spotlight!
In the build up to the production, the publicity team have been showing off behind-the-scenes moments and giving the community a sneak peak into show preparations.
