Wellbeing & Engagement

Assistant Principal - Nik Skrob

Welcome Back!

It is with great pleasure that I write my first article for Wellbeing and Engagement. Like many of you, I have had a whirlwind start to term 3! Covid has been a blessing in disguise for me as it has enabled me to experience the strong sense of community spirit that exists at LNPS and in the wider school community.

It was wonderful to see leadership, teachers, SSOs, and families working collaboratively to deliver and facilitate online learning. While we had some hiccups in the beginning, it was pleasing to see everyone in the school and in the wider community wearing their 'thinking caps' and working through all the challenges that remote learning brings.

I would like to extend a BIG thank you to all families who supported us in delivering online learning. We welcome everyone back today and hope that the rest of term 3 runs smoothly.

Class Visits

Throughout these next few weeks, I will be visiting classes to get to know all students. I look forward to getting to know each and every child at LNPS.

A little about me . . .

Before I started at LNPS, I was working as a Student Wellbeing and Learning Leader in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide, and prior to this I was working as a Behaviour Support Coach in a regional office. Both experiences have supported me to develop my understanding of how to support student wellbeing and engagement, so I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge at LNPS.
