High Flyers Project

Senior students are a part of the LNPS High Flyers program.

One of the tasks set was to create a proposal for our school. Our proposal for the school is to get the LNPS community to bring in loose parts play equipment that they have at home.

The equipment will be going towards the Receptions, Year 1 and 2. The junior primary students use loose parts every recess and lunch. Loose parts is a creative play for the kids to use so that they can build.

The reason we would like you to bring in new loose parts is because some of the loose parts are not safe and are damaged. They have been broken, have sharp edges and people come to the school and have been stealing them. To stop this we will securely lock up the loose parts in the shipping container at the end of the day.

If you have anything to bring in we will  make sure it is suitable and safe for younger students to use. Three people from the school that have helped a lot with bringing in loose parts equipment will get team points. The point amount will range from 10 points to 30 points

Some things that you can bring are crates, pipes, shells, rocks, old steering wheels, old kitchen appliances like safe cutlery, pots  and pans or anything else suitable for children to use during school hours.

If you have anything to bring in please do but make sure before you bring it in that it is suitable for younger students to use.

Loose parts can be dropped of at the Front Office  at 8:30am from Wednesday the 4th August.

Green And Gold Day

We're turning Australia green & gold on Friday 30th July, in support of the Australian Olympic Team.

‘Green & Gold Day' is for everyone. The athletes, the fans, the businesses, the schools, the young, the old and everything in between. It doesn't matter who you are, your sporting ability or your background, we believe sport has the power to unite us all.

This day is about painting the country in our national colours and being proud of Australia's sporting achievements, it's about all Australians coming together and celebrating the green and gold.

Lets’ get involved and show your support by sending your child to school this Friday with a splash of green and gold!
