Sustainability and Environment Team

Thank you to the 2019 Sustainability and Environment Team. What a great year it has been! We introduced compost bins and soft plastic recycling into our classrooms and staffroom, participated in Clean Up Australia Day and National Tree Planting Day. One of the highlights of the year was entering our produce from the garden into the Red Hill Show and winning two blue ribbons.

Christmas doesn't have to be a burden on the planet. a little effort and imagination, we can reduce the environmental impact of the holiday season. Here are some ideas to help celebrate the season while caring for the earth.

The Department has released a new website that helps parents identify their local public school online.

Findmyschool.vic.gov.au launched on 24 April and shows every school zone across the state. The new website highlights the choice of public schools available to the Victorian community.
