The Resilience Project - Parent Information Night

On Monday, 29 October, guest speaker, Hugh Van Cuylenburg from the Resilience Project will be speaking to parents at East Doncaster Secondary College. Hugh has been working in education for over 13 years, teaching both primary and secondary students. After volunteering at a school in the Himalayas in India, Hugh witnessed the resilience within the students attending these underprivileged schools. Shortly after returning to Australia, ‘The Resilience Project’ was born. Having completed his post-graduate studies, specialising in resilience and wellbeing, Hugh has developed and facilitated programs for over 500 schools in Australia. If you would like to come along to our Parent Information Night, more details about the event can be found below.

  • Students are permitted to wear either their Winter or Summer uniform for the last 2 weeks of term 3 (10/9 – 21/9) AND the first 2 weeks of term 4 (8/10-19/10)
  • Correct summer uniform is compulsory from October 22nd
  • Also, a reminder that students are only permitted to wear sports uniform on the days they have PE.
  • Students playing sport at lunchtime or involved in try outs are not permitted to wear PE uniform for the day, instead they must change into their correct uniform for classes.
