CELEBRATING EDUCATION THROUGH THE ARTS

Last week we celebrated Education Week through 'The ARTS' -  visual and performing arts.

On Friday a special assembly was held to showcase the fantastic events in our Arts program.

An art competition was set up by Mitch to discover and encourage the talents of student, teachers and parents.

The choir's singing was both entertaining and harmonious in the presentation of limericks about our wonderful teachers. 

An outstanding mural was designed by the Art group. Many students contributed to this creation using recycled materials.  It is now on display in the foyer.

During P.E. classes some spectacular dances were produced and these were presented to the assembly.

The assembly was brilliant and all who attended had fun and showed appreciation of the many artistic talents at Murrumbeena Primary School.
