An Overview of our Learning
As the teachers of 2A and 2B, we have been so proud of each and every one of our beautiful grade 2 students and the amazing resilience they have shown. Whilst Term 3 has certainly been full of challenges and successes, we continue to be amazed by our students and their ability to adapt to a whole new way of learning.
From WebEx meetings to InitiaLit videos, maths demonstrations and going on a big virtual trip around Australia together, Term 3 has certainly been a Term none of us will ever forget. Together we have grown, become independent learners, used technology in a whole new way, grown academically, completed learning tasks and also enjoyed the company of our families.
WebEx meetings have been a highlight for the Year 2 teachers, being able to see so many of the students’ bright and smiley faces each week was a real joy. We loved being able to hear about their weeks, their highlights, what they have been doing for fun and also work together on that week’s focus topic to continue the students academic growth. It has been amazing to see the confidence grow in each of the students each time they log onto WebEx and join in with our meeting.
To the students in 2A and 2B, Mrs Hall and Miss Bowles are so proud of each and everyone of you! Seeing you each week was a highlight and we can’t wait until we can see everyone back together in the classroom.
