From the Head of Campus' Desk

It was so good to see so many parents at our whole school assembly this week. We will hold two more whole school assemblies this term (outside again) on Wednesday 23 March and Wednesday 6 April. It would be great to see as many parents as possible come and share in the lovely community that we have here.

I am pleased to announce that we have a new PFA President for 2022, Sue Faure has been appointed to the role, please congratulate Sue. We are excited to work together on events as the year unfolds. It is also appropriate to say thanks to our outgoing PFA President Renee Carter and thank her for her dedication to the role over the previous five years.

Shine Program

Many years ago at Heatherton, we had an enrichment (gifted and talented) program that was called Live to Shine. We are going to ‘resurrect’ the program and call it the Shine Program. Initially, the program will be for selected students in grades 3-6 and the students will be working with an expert in the field, Mr Allen Dicksen. Allen runs similar programs at a number of Christian and independent schools.
