Dear Parents & Guardians,

Reports have been published through Parent Portal as of today, Wednesday 29th July 2020. This report is an overview of your child’s achievements both at school and during remote learning.

For those of you accessing Parent Portal for the first time, an email was sent yesterday in regard to your login details. This email was sent from nForma, our database service for reporting (if you cannot see an email from them, please check your junk/spam folder).

For those of you who accessed Parent Portal last year, you will be able to use the login details sent in 2019 (if you updated your password details, these will remain the same).

It is highly recommended that you use a computer to access your child’s reports for the first time. Subsequent logins can be made on a mobile device if preferred. Once in the portal you will need to choose your child (if you have more than one at our school) and then select 'Assessment and Reporting' and the appropriate year/semester.

For those who have requested a hardcopy report, these will be available for pick up from today. However, you have also been granted access via the Parent Portal.

Self-reflections which would usually be attached to this notice, will be sent either via email or in home learning packs. Please take time to read your child’s Self Reflection as this is an important part of your child’s achievements throughout the year and their future goals.

Parent teacher interviews this term will be different. Parents can email teachers to ask for an interview if needed. This can take place as a Google Meet or phone call depending on what you and the teacher would prefer. An appropriate time can be scheduled between yourselves. This has been adapted as there has been regular contact between parents, teachers, and students during remote learning and this will only continue as the term progresses. You will get further detail in a separate notice from Mark.

If you have any questions or issues, please contact me. If you would prefer to email, you can contact me through bcheong@shpreston.catholic.edu.au

Yours sincerely,

Belinda Cheong

(Learning and Teaching Leader)
