VCAL Design Project

Our senior VCAL students equipped themselves with shovels, power tools and building materials recently, putting their environmental design ideas into action at DSC!

From transforming a shipping container into a bouldering wall, and using carpentry skills to build planter boxes, students have done a great job creating inspiring new spaces at Donnie.

For now though, students have had to press pause due to lockdown. A native garden is planned next...let’s hope it can happen in spring!

DSC's New Mudrock Amphitheatre!

We all need a bit of good news at the moment, so we're thrilled to announce that DSC has a fabulous new mudrock ampitheatre!

Meanwhile the construction of our new year 7 learning centre continues, but with stage 4 restrictions now in force, this will slow progress.

The new completion date will not be determined until the next site meeting on Friday, 14 August, and will be communicated in the next edition of the newsletter.

We're pleased to update you on the incredible progress so far. Please see the leaderboard below:

Keep up the amazing work everyone!
