Acting Principal's Report 

Message from Acting Principal, Mr Morris 

Dear parents/carers and students, 

I’m privileged to have the opportunity to take on the role of Acting Principal at Doncaster Secondary College and I’m excited to steer the school into the next stage of our proud history.

Throughout my 19 years at DSC, I have focused on creating a positive environment in which all students and staff can thrive. Living out our College values of respect, responsibility, resilience and teamwork is central to this and I look forward to building on the strong connections I already have with families, students and staff.

As they say, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, and it is these relationships and our culture of care that will see us through these challenging times. 

I would like to acknowledge the outstanding contribution that Mrs McMaster has made to our community. Mrs McMaster has consistently made thoughtful and considered decisions, and her commitment to educating the “whole child” is a lasting legacy for our school. The Principal team have benefitted immensely from her leadership and guidance, and as a result we are well positioned to build on this work. Mrs McMaster’s promotion to the Senior Education Improvement Leader at the Department of Education is a testament to the contribution she has made to education and the high esteem in which she is held.

Along with my amazing Principal team and staff, I’m proud to lead Doncaster Secondary College into the future and foster our growth as a strong, supportive and vibrant school.
