Stop the Stress - online anxiety support group for teens in Manningham

 

Stop the Stress is virtual support group for teens suffering with anxiety commencing on August 22 from 4:00-5:00pm for 4 weeks duration.  Doncare’s Counsellors will lead this online group to guide learning about types of anxiety; why we experience stress and strategies to help. Stop the Stress is available to teens aged 12-15 years who attend school in Manningham or reside in the municipality. 

 

During the four sessions, teens will have the opportunity to share what they have been feeling and learn to identify and understand their experience of stress, worry and anxiety. Teens can also share what’s worked for them (and what didn’t!).  

 

Participation is free. Please call Doncare’s Child and Youth Counsellor Daina Thomas, Counsellor Neha Delhikar or Counselling Supervisor Katinka Pal-Zimny on 9856 1500.

Arts Manningham is running an exciting initiative to encourage people to channel their creativity during the COVID-19 environment.
