2021 Vocational Education and Training (VET)

VET 2021 provisional applications are now open through the ‘Expression of Interest’ application form.

Each year students enquire about studying a VET subject as part of their subjects in either Year 10 or 11. If you are interested in exploring a VET subject please investigate the following information.

A helpful place to look is in the MS Teams folders:

  • VET folder – how VET works
  • 2021 Senior Pathways Handbook in the folder labelled General
  • VET website

Have you seen the GET VET Video Series?

The GET VET website has some great videos offering student perspectives on a range of VET courses.  See the videos here

Some of the VET courses available are Animal Studies, Applied Fashion and Design and Technology, Automotive, Building & Construction, Hospitality, Kitchen operations, Music Industry, Plumbing and Screen & Media. These are certificates that some of our students have studied.

For further information or to collect an ‘Expression of Interest’ form please email Mrs Wakeham. If you would like to chat further please contact the College on Tel: 9848 4677.

The ‘Expression of Interest’ form needs to be emailed to Mrs Wakeham by Friday 14 August, 2020 so that a provisional application can be submitted to the provider.

The Beyond School Study Guide is a useful tool for information about tertiary study and government help. Check out the factsheets on each of the HELP loans, different pathways to university, and compare what study might look like in higher education and vocational education and training (VET).
