Student Leadership at St Mary’s in 2022 

Hello Everyone, 

We are your 2022 Sports Leaders Amelia, Solomon, Kaylen and Wally. We’ll be here regularly to talk all things sports at St Mary’s! 

On Friday the 13th of May, 66 students from Grade 3-6 participated in the Holt District Cross Country event. It was perfect conditions for Cross Country running at Bald Hill Park, a little bit of drizzle and damp under foot! 

Congratulations to Leo for coming 3rd in the 11 year old boys race, Carmen for coming 5th in the 11 year old girls race and Wally for coming 4th in the 12/13 year old boys race. These students will go on to represent the Holt District at the Beachside Division Cross Country to be held on Tuesday the 31st of May. 

All runners tried their hardest and had a great day cheering for each other. St Mary’s finished 5th overall and everyone was very happy with our placement. Thanks to Miss Curtis, Miss McGuinness, Miss Paula and Kat for making sure we got to the our event ready to race!
