Maths Olympiad

Maths Olympiad is a program for exceptional math students all around Australia. St Louis has a group of 21 year five and six students. Every Thursday, we get together with Mrs Davies to practice or do a challenge. The challenges include five problem solving questions that range in difficulty. These questions are intended to challenge and stretch our learning. We also do practices on some of the times that we get together. We compete in 5 challenges throughout the year and we have already completed 2. These are the dates we are competing next:

• Thursday 16th June
• Thursday 28th July
• Thursday 8th September

After completing a challenge we feel proud, wiser and happy. (We also sometimes get rewards for improving! 😊). It's amazing to be a part of this special program.
