All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
KINGSTON DIVISION CROSS COUNTRY
Last Tuesday, sixteen St Louis students travelled to Karkarook Park to compete in the Kingston Division Cross Country. The conditions were brutal with freezing wind and intermittent rain. Our students had trained hard both at and away from school.
All of our runners finished in the front half of each race. We had 4 students who finished in the top 10 and are now qualified to run in the next progression, the South Metro Region! Congratulations to Jonas M, Patrick H, Jake L and Teagan S and all the best for the next level.
Thank you to Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Wood for your support on the day. And a BIG thank you to the parents who braved awful conditions and helped us out with transport, training and just being there for the kids.
RUNNING CLUB
Starts this Tuesday. Meet at the hall before 8.00 am for a 2 km jog around the wetlands. The run will be fully supervised by three teachers. Families are invited to come along for the run as well.
