Who should attend parent teacher interviews? Parent/s only, or student as well?

We are asking for students in the Grades 4/6 area to attend the Parent Teacher Interview meetings. We recommend in Grades P-3, that only parents attend the interview. If parents bring their children along there will be play opportunities set up in the classroom next door.
