Year 7 News  

As we head into the last few weeks of Semester One we encourage students and parents to be mindful of due dates before reports are written. Obviously, with the scheduled Report Writing Day for 10/6/22, staff will be busy writing reports.

Please note Semester 2 classes will commence on Tuesday 14th of June. This means for all Year 7 students some significant timetable changes will occur. This will include the end of semester based classes and the beginning of some new classes. Please ensure that you are checking Compass over the long weekend and are across the changes. 

Our Year 7 student representatives did a remarkable job on the National Sorry Day. National Sorry Day recognised the impact of Australian historical policies, practices and attitudes on First Nations people.

On behalf of the Year 7 cohort we like to express our gratitude and appreciation to VSC ICT Support team in helping our students get connected and being available at any time with any issues that may arise. Our community can support them too by knowing the difference between cyber security, cyber awareness and cyber safety: Happy Surfing. 

The winter months are upon us and Mr. Pearson and Mr. Duiveman are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe: masks, hand sanitiser and air purifiers.
