INTERVIEW WITH MR NICOLAIDES
Last week I was fortunate enough to meet with some of the cast from our upcoming school production of Aladdin.
1. How are you finding being involved in the Aladdin cast?
- Blaine – I am absolutely loving this cast - I am really becoming more confident and my self-belief is growing.
- Yoshimi – I am so very excited to be involved in a cast that feels more like a family
- Allegra – It is a very rewarding experience to be involved in
- Jasmin – I love it – I am featured in the dance and Mr Haddad is great.
- Tiara – It is fun and I feel nervous at the same time. I am nervous to perform in front of a lot of people however I feel comfortable in my cast environment
- Hannah – I am more excited rather than nervous. I am part of something so great and this makes me feel so special.
2. What do you enjoy most about the Aladdin cast?
- Kiara – I am really enjoying the responsibility that I have within the cast.
- Allegra – We are getting to do what we love. As a result of this I am becoming more confident in my speaking abilities and performing abilities.
- Serafina – We are all basically a big family and we all trust each other, I just love all of the acting, singing and dancing
- Izzy - It gives me a sense of responsibility – we have all specialised areas – we all come together for one awesome show
- Yoshimi – It is not just about acting – we get to interact with one another and cooperate with everyone – we have fun and laugh – it is fun to work with people that we don’t know personally and build relationships with students across Years 4, 5 and 6
- Suhana – Really pleased with the independence we have been given and the bonds that we have created.
- Tiara – We work together and have fun with each other
- Hannah – It is a great cast and everyone supports you if you make a mistake. The cast and teachers are very supportive.
