On Tuesday, August 15th, the wonderful theatre group Meerkat Productions entertained the 3-6 students with their newest show ‘The Way of Dog.’

‘The Way of Dog’ is shortlisted for the Children’s Book of the Year Award for 2023. The story is told from the viewpoint of Scruffity the dog who is born in a puppy farm but is set free by a boy who is as lonely as he is. Scruffity goes on lots of adventures, learns what it is to be a dog and finally finds a place to call home. The children loved the production and really enjoyed Scruffity the puppet.
