Year 1/2 Gymnastics
During the beginning of Term 3, the three classes in Year 1 and Year 2 at Brooklyn Park are participating in a five week gymnastics program at the Western Youth Centre on Marion Road. Students have been enjoying learning a variety of gymnastic skills taught by qualified instructors.
A few students have chosen some highlights to share with you.
“My favourite part of gymnastics was doing a cat sit and going on the mini trampoline” - Imisi
“My favourite part was going on the trampolines, and I really enjoyed bouncing then landing in lots of different types of positions.” - Clay

'The Language of Friendship' Parent/Child Online Workshop
Tuesday, 15 August, 6pm - 7.15pm
We are pleased to invite our Junior School Parents and Children to 'The Language of Friendship' - a free online workshop on Tuesday 15 August, 6pm.
Hosted by URstrong, this interactive workshop will introduce parents and their children to a common language when talking about friendships, based on the Friendology curriculum they are learning.
A great way to support your child in fostering healthy and rewarding friendships well into their adult life.

Come along and enjoy a complimentary, catered breakfast with your children. There will be an awesome spread of pre-made food options including Ham & Cheese Croissants, Fruit, Yoghurt and Muffins. Gluten Free options will be available.
And of course COFFEE! A Coffee Van Barista will be onsite to serve all Dads a complimentary Coffee or Hot Chocolate.

Junior School families, (parents and their Emmaus children) are invited to attend the Term 3 Principal's Tour of our Middle and Senior School at South Plympton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a sneak preview into all you'll have to look forward to in the secondary years at Emmaus and discover the variety of learning experiences and curriculum on offer. You'll also meet key leadership staff, and take a quick tour of the many many learning spaces.
All graduating Year 6 students from Brooklyn Park and South Plympton have guaranteed entry into Year 7 in our Middle School.
