Junior School News 

 Dear Families, 

Welcome back to a term that is certain to be filled with excitement and new adventures. We are excited to step into the next chapter of our learning journey.

100 DAYS OF PREP

This week marked a momentous occasion as our Prep students celebrated their 100th day of school! It was a day filled with laughter, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment as our little learners commemorated reaching this significant milestone in their educational journey. Throughout the day, the children participated in various engaging activities, reflecting on all the wonderful experiences they've had so far. The 100th day of school served as a reminder of the incredible progress they've made and the countlessadventures that lie ahead. We are incredibly proud of our Prep students and their dedication to learning, and we look forward to many more enriching days as they continue to grow and thrive in our school.

Maths Week 

Throughout the week, the students had the opportunity to participate in rotations between all classes, immersing themselves in a variety of math-related challenges. Each class offered a unique and interactive learning experience, ensuring that every child had a chance to explore different aspects of mathematics. From hands-on manipulative exercises to creative problem-solving activities, the rotations kept the students actively engaged and eager to learn. 

Topic

Having learned about the night sky and constellations, our Junior students drew the moon phases and created constellations using toothpicks and marshmallows. Yummy!  Coming up next students will be looking at the weather and how it changes. If you have any empty, clear-plastic bottles can you send them in with your child next week.
