Hello MCC Community!

Our McClelland Vocational Major program is one that celebrates the central tenets of Applied Learning. Within that, projects are a huge part of our curriculum.

This weeks COG is dedicated to promoting some of our student-led projects that are happening this term. Please get involved where you can!

CELEBRATING INDIVIDUAL STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

Mikayla Williamson recently co-Captained Vic Country in a game against Queensland (AFLW) in Brisbane. She is making huge progress in the sporting world and is well on the way to being drafted by an AFLW club in 2024. Well done, legend!

Matilda Jefferson is currently in South Australia competing in the National Championships for competitive dance. Good luck, Matilda!

Tyson Trinca was recently accepted to play College basketball in Florida, USA! What a huge achievement! Tyson lives and breathes basketball and this is a massive win in his step to playing in the NBA. Well done, Tyson!

We celebrate all of our individual talents and achievements with our students, but we can only promote what we know! If you believe your student has something worth sharing with our fantastic community – please get in touch with the team and send on photos and a blurb for us to consider.

Certificate II in Parks and Gardens

In 2023, our Parks and Gardens class have already done great things.

Check out THIS VIDEO of our students creating an indigenous garden at one of our feeder primary schools, Frankston East Primary School.

Great work, team!

Next year, this certificate is changing slightly to a Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management. An information session will run on September 4th at 12:30pm for any interested students.
