Subject Teacher Conversation Bookings Now Open

Subject Teacher Conversations will be held on Monday 21st August.  Please note this is a student free day.

Bookings are now open via PAM and close next Wednesday, 16th August, at 3.30pm.

We look forward to the opportunity to discuss your child's learning.

Sock It to the Can

Our 2023 Winter Appeal is underway. Families are asked to donate non-perishable food items and winter woolies such as new warm socks, for members of our local community. Items can be placed in the collection bag in your child's TA space at school.

Canteen Ordering

The canteen has now transitioned to online only lunch orders via the Flexischools App. Paper-bag style lunch orders are no longer available.

Details on how to download the app, register and order can be found in the graphics below.

For eligible year levels, a variety of hot and cold meals are available for purchase from the bain marie if an online lunch order is not submitted by the 9.30am cutoff. However it is best to order through the app to ensure your child does not miss out.

Cash or eftpos facilities are available for bain marie purchases.

As per the existing canteen procedures, students from F-4 are not able to purchase directly from the canteen.  All items for these students must be ordered via the Flexischools app.

Applications Open for 2024 Student Leaders

Applications from current Years 3, 7 and 11 students for our 2024 Student Leadership Team are now open.

The Information Package can be accessed here. It includes the position descriptions, process (how to apply) and timeline. Being a part of our Student Leadership Team is a great way to give back to our community, make friends and develop your leadership skills.

Applications close on Wednesday 23rd August (Week 7).

Your child's TA is available to help them with their application, as are Mrs Downie, Mr Poppa and Ms Jenner.  Please encourage your child to consider applying for a leadership position.

If you have any questions please email or speak with your Community Leader or Ms Kylie Morrissey.

Tarkarri Cover Design Competition

Students are invited to submit a front cover design for our 2023 school magazine, Tarkarri, which will be published at the end of the year.

St Augustine's Years 7-12 Writing Competition 2023

The theme for our 2023 Writing Competition is IGNITE YOUR INNER FLAME!

This theme calls you to write about something you're passionate about! Topics and issues you want to spark thought in people and ignite curiosity.

You can write either a fiction or nonfiction piece, and they can be in any format (think poem, essay, creative, song etc).

This year, we have decided NOT to put a word count on the competition! After all there is no limit on representing issues important to you!

The competition closes on Friday 1st September. And winners will be announced at the End of Term Assembly!
