Staffing

We have two new joinees this month:

• Jothikumar Bava has joined as a Technology Teacher until the end of the school year. Jothikumar comes with 35+ years of teaching experience. He has worked as a Design and Technology Teacher in the past. Some of the schools he has worked at previously include, Salesian College Sunbury, Truganina P-9 College, Werribee Secondary College, and Pakenham Secondary School.
• Anne Farrugia has joined as Finance and Payroll Officer. Anne comes with approximately 27 years of experience. She has also previously worked as a Finance Officer in St Aloysius College.

We welcome both Jothikumar and Anne to the Good News family and wish them the very best in their roles.

• Mikayla van der Merwe has been successful in gaining a Long Service leave (LSL) replacement role in Term 4. Mikayla is currently in Queensland. She began her teaching career in Brisbane after completing her Bachelor of Education from Australian Catholic University in July 2020. In the last 12 months, Mikayla has done many CRT roles and also held a full-time position as a Curriculum Coordination Time Teacher.
