Senior Years Report

Mr Rodney Latham and Ms Celeste Cameron

Mrs Christine Taylor has taken a short leave of absence for health reasons.  We pray God’s hand is upon her and wish her God’s blessing over the coming weeks.  In her absence, Mr Rodney Latham and Ms Celeste Cameron will be sharing aspects of the Head of Senior Years' role.  Please feel free to contact either or both in Mrs Taylor’s absence.

Year 12 students will be busy during the upcoming holidays. Week 1 will see students enjoying revision lectures through Connect onsite, for many of their subjects.  Week 2 will give students an opportunity to relax and recuperate before the upcoming Practice Exams in Week 3. A letter with more details will be communicated shortly.

Year 11 students recently enjoyed a 'funny dress' PC class to provide students with a fun activity to maintain enthusiasm and connectivity across the Year 11 classes.  Upcoming events include crazy hair day and best beard.

Year 10 students are working diligently on their Personal Projects and we look forward to seeing the result in coming weeks. The Year 10’s have demonstrated considerable resilience during remote learning and are maintaining good focus on their studies.

Even though we are learning remotely, our Studio Art class is still creating beautiful works and documenting the process. Art is an excellent medium for self-expression and can provide a therapeutic release from the repetition of lockdown.  During these challenging times, it is an excellent opportunity to explore and develop your skills in this area.  Please enjoy some of the wonderful work our Unit 3-4 Studio Art students have created.
