Principal's Message

By Jenny Hassett

Fantastic News for Sandy

Sandy has always had a personal dream to work with Emergency Services and when she spoke to me a few weeks ago, I encouraged her to pursue her dream. The process in applying was major and draining. Her efforts were rewarded last week with a job offer that could not be refused. We in the office, and the Rollins staff, are thoroughly thrilled for her, although she will be almost impossible to replace. She has over the years developed an incredible relationship with the staff and parent community, and without doubt, has been incredibly supportive in my role as Principal. Congratulations Sandy and may I say what a great example to your two daughters and to everyone in the wider community that you can achieve dreams if you have a positive attitude to life. Sandy will be with us until the 27th of August 2021. We wish her the very best in this new life adventure and sincerely thank her for the tremendous work she has done to help our community in the past few years. Have a great day everyone.

Please feel free to give her a call to congratulate her before she leaves.

Prep Evening

Last Monday we conducted our Prep Information Evening via WebEx. It was a little unusual as we always love to meet our new parents in person.

Despite this we were able to provide all the information and answer any questions that the new parents may have. I would like to thank our Prep Team (Silvana and Hayley) for the excellent job they did in preparing for this night. As usual a very comprehensive and well organised night.
