SMPPS YEAR BOOK - CALLING ALL STUDENTS!

We would love to see your art work on the cover of the SMPPS 2021 Year Book!

While you have some extra time, we thought it an opportunity to start drawing, painting, creating what you would like to see on the cover of the 2021 year book.

 

 

Your Year Book cover should:

  • be created on a blank A4 page in PORTRAIT
  • include SMPPS 2021

As we have limited space we need to choose just one for the cover. To the right is last year's cover.

 

When you have finished take a photo of your cover and email to south.melbourne.park.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

 

Keep the original safe at home as we will need it if yours is chosen for publication.

 

We look forward to getting lots of submissions by the end of Term 3!

PREP 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL CELEBRATION

This week the Preps celebrated 100 days of school. Although we have postponed our dress up day, we decided to celebrate by having a different theme or activity for our morning live lessons: 

  • Monday was crazy hair/hat day
  • Tuesday was bring your favourite toy to the lesson
  • Wednesday was a class game and story
  • Thursday was PJ day
  • Friday class dance party!

We also got to complete lots of 100 days this week which our teachers shared with us by creating a 100 days of school website. We can't wait to get back to school to celebrate as 100 year olds with a dress up and disco!

MS READATHON

Well done to every student who is reading books and fundraising money for the MS Readathon!

 

We have raised a total of $2039 so far! That is such an incredible achievement! The attached Team Leaderboard celebrates the Top 5 fundraising teams. A massive congratulations to these 5 teams! If your team isn't up there, get on reading and fundraising! And if you have yet to register and want to get on board, contact your teacher for the details.
