VCAL UPDATE

Over the past few weeks VCAL students have been working remotely to achieve their learning outcomes. It is important that these outcomes and learning tasks are completed for students to receive their VCAL Certificate at the end of the Year. Year 12 WRS students have been creating their own business and will be running a market day when school returns to raise money for their chosen charities. As the Escape Room excursion has been cancelled, we have organised a virtual escape room to take place on the 2nd September for Year 12 students so they can meet this outcome. Please ensure you log into your class that day as it will be a super fun session.

VCAL interviews and presentations:

Year 11 and 12 VCAL students will be participating in a mock job interview as well as a VCAL reflection presentation in Term 4. Please stay tuned for the schedule, it will be posted to Compass. Year 12 will be in the first 2 weeks of Term 4 and Year 11s during the exam period. Classes will be cancelled during this time but any student who has not completed all set learning tasks will be required in Redemption. 

SWL:

Structured Workplace Learning has been cancelled while we are in lockdown. A communication will be sent if this news changes.

UTrain application and interview process for our 2022 cohort has commenced, successful applicants will complete our enrolment and induction sessions in December before commencing their SBAT's in January 2022.
