Student Work

A snapshot of some of the great work happening at Staughton College

Year 10 French

The Year 10 French class has continued demonstrating effort and learning during the recent remote learning period. They were tasked with researching and presenting information on an endangered animal for our current unit titled, Vers une meilleure planète (Towards a better planet). This unit focuses on current environmental concerns and adjusting behaviours and attitudes to improve the state of our planet, while improving French speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.

Examples of animals researched include the Blue Whale (Cherry Yeung), the Tiger (Yehwan Lee), the Bee (Nella Simpson), the Purple Crowned Fairywren (Tasman Broadway), the Polar Bear (Ishita Dalleedoo) and other endangered creatures.

Each student did research, conferenced with the teacher, created a presentation and presented to their peers on Google Meet entirely in French. Félicitations (congratulations) to our brilliant French leaners at Staughton!
