Online Parent Course - NO SCAREDY CATS™

Anxiety in children is at an all-time high. After the results of the APPA Survey, Parentshop® developed No Scaredy Cats™, a parent-led program to give parents the tools to help their anxious children to become more resilient presented by the course author, Michael Hawton MAPS.

Resilient Youth - Lockdown Resources

We are all currently navigating one of our most challenging times in recent memory due to the global pandemic. The impact this is having on our young people, their caregivers, and educators wellbeing and mental health are significant. 

 

We have recently reached 200 days of lockdown here in Melbourne, and rather than lamenting this occurrence, we wanted to reach out to you, providing some practical resources and ideas for families, children and adolescents to promote connection, fun and play whilst under the restrictions of lockdown.

Positive Parenting Telephone Service 1800 880 660

Participants complete a workbook or online modules which are supported by weekly 30 minute phone calls with a trained parenting educator. All of this can be done from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you.

Parentline is available 8am to midnight, 7 days a week. It is a confidential and anonymous phone counselling service for parents and carers of children and teenagers in Victoria.
