SWIMMING: 

Swimming is going swimmingly at MSAC!  The students and staff have reported back their enjoyment and improved efficiency of the program at MSAC. The last swimming lesson will be on Moday the 8th May for the 3-6. Prep to 2 will have their lessons week 1 in term 4.

ATHLETICS NEWS:

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are very excited to be having our SMPPS Athletics Carnival at Lakeside stadium on Tuesday 30th May. This year we have teamed up with Albert Park Primary School and will be having the carnival together. This event is for all the year 3-6 students to attend. Further information to provide consent will be provided via compass shortly. 

For this event to run smoothly we require parent volunteers to assist with the events. The events we need parents to help run are, discus, shot put, long jump, triple jump, high jump and hurdles. 

If you are available on the day and able to help at any capacity please let me know via email: can.osman@education.vic.gov.au  

Matildas World Cup Competition:

We are getting excited about the upcoming FIFA Womens World CUP hosted in AUS and NZ. Your child will be coming home with a template to design a custom soccer ball and win 50 balls with their design for our school. Congratulations to the 2023 SMPPS Cross Country Team who will compete and represent our school at District Cross Country at Murphys Reserve on the 19th May. Parents and Carers are welcome to come, watch and cheer on their children.
