Class 16

Marisa Rizio

Class 16 is off to a fantastic start to the year!

As a class we have been learning about our likes and dislikes and presenting this information to our peers. Through these activities and a few games involving teamwork, we have built a great classroom environment.

With mindfulness in mind, we have looked at what makes us unique and also what we share in common.

With this information we have created our ‘Classroom Culture‘ wall that gives us a visual presentation of what we collectively want and expect our classroom to look, feel and sound like.

Class 16 students have also been collecting information on a topic of their choice and collating their data into graphs.

Students have also now begun their VET subjects and are enjoying their new classes in either Parks and Gardens, Hospitality or the Chisholm Horizons program.

Students have transitioned into VPC with enthusiasm and have now begun working on their projects. Secondary Students have been in the process of applying and presenting their application for a position in the Student Representative Council. This is an opportunity for the elected students to represent students concerns, needs and ideas with the school decision makers. A big congratulations to all applicants and to the successful students including our own class 16 student Rose Trist.
